Name of gadget: Volkano Pivot series 4 port USB hub

Specs:

·         LED indicator lights in USB ports

·         High speed 4 port USB Hub

·         USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 compatibility

·         Connects 4 USB devices in 1 USB port

·         480 MB per second transfer speed

Pros: functions at the same speed whether one port is being used or all four. The LED lights makes it easier to see if the device is still functional or not. It also assist with being able to plug in devices in the dark

Cons: The extension cord used for plugging the device is too short. The cord is also white in colour meaning it is more susceptible to getting dirty.

Rating: 6/10

Comment: The volcano Pivot series 4 port USB Hub is a great entry level gadget for students. It is reasonably priced and performs well.

Pros: The Jody GorillaPod starter Kit is portable and easy to carry, it can fit in a back pocket or a bag. It has flexible legs that can wrap around objects, it also has ball sockets that allow for unlimited angles. The multiple attachments turns the pod into a multipurpose gadget on the move.

Cons: the only con for the Gorillapod is the height. If the pod was taller this would allow for more angles.

Comment: it is a great gadget to carry around, the multiple attachments turns the pod into a multipurpose object which can be utilised at any time. The multiple attachments creates convenience for people using the kit. Although pricy it is still a good investment to make if towards a YouTube channel or vlog posts and for future camping trips.

Specs:

Pros: Can be used to charge a smartphone to a 100% multiple times without being recharged. Portable and easy to carry. Is able to charge multiple devices at the same time without lagging.  LED light can indicate how far the battery life is. Has an accessible button for switching it on or off.

Cons: Switches off randomly while charging a device. Doesn’t charge fully even if it spent the night on the charger. Complementary charging cord is extremely short.

Rating:5/10

Comment: The Volkano power bank although not the best power bank in the market, it gets its job done. Would not recommend that any one buy it, since it presents more problems than solution.

Pros: headphones have a detachable aux cord, they have a sleek design, and are portable. They also have adjustable earmuff attachments and cushioned speakers to give the listeners a comfortable fit.

Cons: The headphone don’t have great sound quality, they have an echo and a hall like sound. When the volume on any device is increased the sound stops transmitting to the headphone and start playing from where they plugged. The headphones also have a rattling sound due to them not being fitted properly.

Rating:4/10

Comment: in the new digital era Bluetooth is the best way to go, the fact that the Volkano headphones aren’t lead to the rating score landing at 4. They are definitely perfect entry level headphones and are worth their price.
